The center of this large room is dominated by a ten-foot diameter circle inscribed in the floor, surrounded by twenty-one equally spaced chairs. Thirteen of the chairs is occupied by the skeletons of ancient Arkeans. Around the chairs are piles of dust, the disintegrated residue of clothing and skin. Broken glass fixtures set around the room are all that remains of a holographic projection device. A maintenance panel in the west wall is slightly out of place.

• Skeletons: adult Arkeans; long limbs, three eye sockets, and a spiny rib cage.
• Fixtures: if the projection apparatus in 1.31 is repaired, these flare into action playing an Arkean propaganda hologram. Silent.
• Panel: can be easily removed, leading to 1.24.
