A long olivine hall stretches from north to south. The walls and ceiling are engraved in ancient glyphs. The floor is tiled with a unique pattern of shapes that do not repeat, and small eddys of green sand make serpent-like swirls. A stiff breeze blows from the south, pushing the green sand into new forms. The doors to the north and south are large and unlocked.
- Glyphs: A manifest of project operators in Arkean. Lists of names and ranks. On the ceiling the mission statement: “Through the earth we build a gateway to the stars”.
- Green sand: bits of debris from the star manifold process. If swept up and collected, can be used as a spell component by magic users.
- Breeze: warm air being ventilated through the engraved voids in the south of the hall; the air comes from the star manifold, deeper in the compound.
