Within the reflections, Kelmais the Arkean conservator greets visitors and guides tours of the history of the star manifold project. At the room’s centre, a large metal box glows with a haunting red light. The floor is covered in serpent folk refuse and piles of dust.

• Pillars: structural and technological. The mirrored surfaces reflect the surrounding room but insert a reflection of Kelmais if functioning. Each pillar is 5' diameter and is 2:6 to be functioning.
• **Kelmais:** a four-armed humanoid with orange skin, a bright silver mane, and 3 equidistant eyes. Only speaks Arkean. Knows public information about the star manifold project. With enough time and study a wizard could learn enough Arkean to activate the cleaner in 1.7.
• Metal box: this arcane device hosts the data and processing core of Kelmais. It can take 25 damage before being destroyed.
