The smooth walls and floor of this austere chamber are scratched and scuffed; occasional smudges of brown stain mark the surfaces. Twitching and whining in the southwest corner: metal fittings merged with decayed flesh. Entering this room triggers its rise and it rushes to get through the door.

• Brown stain: Smudges of the organic creature that used to be confined here. During its confinement it was attempting to escape; its cybernetics took over and continued the escape attempt long after the creature had died.
• Decayed flesh: The cybernetic corpse wants only escape and to return to its dimension of origin. It will kill anything that stands in its way. Fights as a shield guardian.
