An undulating, glistening mass spans the south wall of this room. Branching out across the floor, walls, and ceiling, a mucus membrane connects this creature with its digestive organ in 2.14. A small redundancy reactor is keeping it warm. The maintenance panel leading into this room appears to be a normal wall panel unless a maintenance ID card is near (see 1.25). In between the reactor and the creature are the remains of an Arkean guard wearing a necklace imprinted with the codes required to open the containment cells in 2.9.

• Creature: A transdimensional being with psychic powers; 7 HD due to its mass but is vulnerable to physical attacks (taking double damage). It can mind control as a ghost possession or cast any spell lower than 4th level at will.
