Large diamond-shaped chamber with each point terminating in an automatic door. The centre of the room is dominated by a huge tank of fluid; an ooze swims around inside. A wire runs from a small table mirror to a probe fastened to the inside of the tank. The mirror flashes with superimposed images.

• Automatic doors: South opens to any ID card; east and west require a code to be entered as well. The codes can be found on a necklace worn by an Arkean corpse in 2.15.
• **Ooze:** A diplomat from an alternate dimension, only able to communicate by flashing images in the mirror. It is friendly and helpful if it can be understood.
