A breeze blows through lanes that wind between empty market stalls in this abandoned town centre. A noodle shop has empty dirty bowls resting on the customer counter and a dirty tassel is draped over the cook's station. Shell beads strung on seaweed chains hang from the display of a colourful booth. A sign with a moon over the waves of an ocean proclaims: "Fortune Teller". A news stand has a stack of broadsheets announcing a state of emergency, as Bufon forces have begun invading from the floor above. An evacuation to the "great sea" being arranged for civilians in weeks, the sheets are dated from two months ago. A soapstone door leads east and another leads west.
