A large gaudy plaza, decorated with wall-to-wall mosaics of precious metal and gems. The mosaics show the freeing of the dead, a story which begins with the destruction of Orcus, demon prince and maker of the undead, and finishes with the forming of the democratic republic of deceased peoples. The plaza is populated with a variety of undead at most hours of the day, many of whom are engaged in civic activities from union organizing to stumping for political office. Claiming treasure from the walls yields 200 gp worth of gold and gems every turn, but is highly illegal and is punishable by soul imprisonment for no less than 3 years. Though their highly evolved legal system assures a fair trial before an impartial jury with guaranteed legal representation.
